We serve as a multifaceted marketplace for the exchange of mushroom spores and mycelium-based products intended for research, education, and culinary use. Beyond commerce, we are a hub of knowledge, featuring an extensive library of articles and resources for enthusiasts and professionals alike. At the heart of our educational commitment is the Mushroom Academy, our innovative Learning Management System (LMS), designed to foster learning and growth within the mycological community. Our operations are built on a foundation of legal compliance and responsible stewardship, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for all members of the Mushroom Network.

For Our Patrons and Patron-Buyers:

As valued members of our community, you are responsible for adhering to all legal requirements regarding your interactions within the Mushroom Network. Should legal disputes arise, responsibility primarily lies with you, the Patron or Patron-Buyer, followed by the Mycologist Vendors regarding product-related issues.

Confidentiality and Privacy:

Your privacy and data security are paramount. We commit to not disclose any personal or business-related data without explicit consent, except as required for facilitating network activities or as legally mandated. (Click Here to view our Privacy Policy)

Account Security:

You hold the responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Any unauthorized account activity must be reported immediately. We reserve the right to terminate accounts, edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion.

Responsible Use:

The Mushroom Network should only be used for lawful purposes. We expect you to respect the integrity of our platform and community by not engaging in any unauthorized or illegal activities.

Communicating with Us and Others:

When you visit our website or send us emails, you’re communicating electronically and consent to receive responses likewise. We offer various Communication Services designed to enable sharing and learning; these tools must be used responsibly and appropriately.

Sharing the Knowledge:

Feel free to share our newsletter to spread awareness and interest in our offerings and community.

Your Contributions:

Any content you post using our open communication tools must comply with our guidelines and not infringe upon the rights of others or the law.

Affiliations and Earnings:

We engage in affiliate marketing and may earn commissions for promoting products or services. Transparency in such promotions is a key ethical practice for us.

Providing Content to Us:

When you submit materials to the Mushroom Network, you grant us permission to use them in line with our online operation, which includes necessary sublicensing.

The Mushroom Network is a highly evolving platform, and we continually strive to develop policies that foster a safe, legal, and ethical trading environment. As part of this commitment, the following policy addendums are integral to our Terms of Use and must be agreed upon by all Patrons, Patron-Buyers, and Mycologist Vendors:

Affiliate Program: Patron and Mycologist Vendor Incentives

Whether you’re a Patron or a Marketplace Vendor, you have the opportunity to participate in our Affiliate Program. Upon joining, you will receive a unique code that identifies your referrals.

Using Your Unique Affiliate Code:

For Patrons: If you’re not a Marketplace Vendor but are part of our community, you can still earn by referring new Patrons to our Network. You can also potentially earn a percentage on eligible products and services if the Patron uses your unique code at checkout.
For Marketplace Vendors: When a purchase is made using your affiliate code, you will receive credit for all the eligible products and services and a percentage of the profit payout.

It’s vital for YOU to educate YOUR Patrons about the importance of entering YOUR AFFILIATE CODE at checkout to ensure proper credit for all eligible sales.

Profit Payouts and Additional Earnings:

As a participant in our Affiliate Program, either as a Patron or a Marketplace Vendor, you can earn additional income through our Collaborative Growth Incentive Program. When you successfully refer a sale through your unique code, you are eligible to receive an incentive from the profit of that sale. Here’s how it works:

Incentive Eligibility: Not all products and services are eligible for the incentive. The eligibility of items for the incentive is predetermined and subject to the specific terms of the Collaborative Growth Incentive Program, which you must opt into.
Earning from Referrals: For each eligible sale that is made as a result of your referral, you will receive a bonus. Typically, this bonus is set at 5% of the profit from that sale.

It’s important to note that the exact percentage of the incentive and which items are eligible can vary and are at the discretion of the Mushroom Network. We aim to foster growth and mutual success within our community, and this program is designed with that goal in mind.

Patron/Marketplace Vendor Affiliate Program Agreement

Introduction This agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing participation in the Mushroom Network’s Affiliate Referral Program (“the Program”).

Participation in the Program By enrolling and participating in the Program, the Affiliate (hereafter referred to as “You” or “Your”) agrees to comply with all the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. Your participation in the Program is solely to legally advertise our website to receive a commission on memberships and products purchased by individuals referred to Mushroom Network by Your own website or personal referrals.
Collaborative Growth Incentive The Program provides the Collaborative Growth Incentive (“the Incentive”), which grants You a referral bonus for each qualifying sale made through Your unique referral code. The standard bonus is 5% of the sale value, but this may be adjusted under certain circumstances, at the sole discretion of the Mushroom Network.
Use of Referral Code To earn the Incentive, Your referral code must be used at the point of checkout. The sale will not be attributed to You if the referral code is incorrect or not entered, and You will not earn the Incentive for that sale.
Qualifying Items Not all items on the Mushroom Network qualify for the Incentive. You must verify the eligibility of each item to ensure it qualifies for the Incentive under the Program.
Legal Information and Payment You are required to provide Your legal name and a valid email address for communication and payment transactions. Incorrect information may lead to delayed payments or forfeiture of Incentives and may result in termination from the Program. We require additional documents for tax purposes if you make over $100 in total payouts for the year.
Affiliate Code Conduct Your requested affiliate code name must be appropriate and inoffensive. The Mushroom Network reserves the right to modify or refuse the code name if it is deemed unsuitable. Any changes to Your affiliate code name after initial approval must be communicated with and approved by the Network’s Patron Support Center.
Myco-Rewards Credit System The Myco-Rewards Credit System awards You MYCO-POINTS and/or MYCO-TOKENS for every new Patron signup achieved through Your referral. Myco-Rewards Credits are then redeemable against a curated selection of rewards. The Mushroom Network reserves the right to determine the value of these points and the associated redeemable items.
Modification and Termination The Mushroom Network reserves the right to modify any of the terms and conditions within this agreement or terminate the Program at any time. Upon termination, You will have 90 days to redeem any accumulated points unless special circumstances require an extension of up to an additional 180 days.
Agreement to Changes By continuing Your participation in the Program, You are agreeing to any and all modifications to the terms and conditions, including changes to the points system. If at any point You do not agree to such changes, Your participation in the Program should be discontinued.
Limitations of Liability The Mushroom Network will not be liable for indirect or accidental damages (loss of revenue, commissions) due to affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, or any results of intents of harm to the Program and/or to our website(s).
Disclaimer The Mushroom Network makes no express or implied warranties or representations with respect to the Program or Your potential to earn income from the Program.

By signing up for the Mushroom Network Affiliate Referral Program, You acknowledge that You have read this agreement and agree to all its terms and conditions. You have independently evaluated the desirability of participating in the Program and are not relying on any representation, guarantee, or statement other than as set forth in this agreement.

Your Payouts and Tax Compliance:

When you earn any type of compensation through the Mushroom Network, we need you to provide your legal name and a valid email address to process your payouts accurately and efficiently. If the information you provide is incorrect, this could lead to delays or the loss of your earned incentives.

In adherence to IRS guidelines and to ensure compliance with tax regulations, The Mushroom Network has established a protocol concerning the collection of necessary tax-related information from Patrons/Marketplace Vendors/Myco-Instructor/etc. who receive payouts. This protocol outlines the threshold for collecting additional information and the implications of reaching this threshold within a single calendar year.

Payout Threshold for Tax Information Collection:

Threshold: The Mushroom Network will require all Patrons who accrue more than $200 in total payouts within a single calendar year to provide additional tax-related information. This update from the previous threshold of $500 is aimed at ensuring compliance well in advance of the IRS’s $500 reporting requirement.
Notification and Information Request: Patrons reaching the adjusted threshold of $200 will be notified directly regarding the specific details of the additional information required. The prompt provision of this information is crucial for the continuation of payouts without delay.
Compliance Requirement: Failure to comply with the request for additional information upon reaching the $200 threshold may result in the withholding of future payouts. This measure is necessary to maintain compliance with tax regulations and to ensure the integrity of the payout process.

Responsibilities and Compliance

Patron Responsibilities: It is the responsibility of each Patron to provide accurate and timely information as requested to meet this policy’s requirements. This includes updating any relevant information that may change over time to ensure continued compliance.
Administrative Process: The Mushroom Network will maintain a systematic process for tracking payouts and identifying Patrons who cross the threshold requiring additional information. This process includes notification mechanisms and support for Patrons to submit the necessary information efficiently.

Implications of Non-Compliance

Failure to provide the requested tax-related information after surpassing the $200 payout threshold within a calendar year will result in a temporary hold on future payouts. This hold will remain in effect until compliance is achieved, ensuring that The Mushroom Network adheres to tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Your adherence to these requirements is crucial for maintaining the seamless operation of the Mushroom Network and ensures we all uphold the highest standards of financial integrity.

Commitment to Compliance and Ethics:

As a participant of the Mushroom Network, whether you are a Mycologist Vendor, Patron, and/or Patron-Buyer, you pledge to engage in ethical and lawful practices within the mycological field.

Zero Tolerance for Misuse:

We strictly prohibit the misuse of our products. Any products obtained should only be used for their designated purpose.

CONTENT DISCLAIMER:

The information and resources provided by the Mushroom Network and associated entities are for educational and research purposes only. Liability Limitations:

We aim to maintain a secure and reliable platform, but we cannot be held liable for indirect or incidental damages related to the use of the Mushroom Network. The Mushroom Network, its owners, its affiliates, and its licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, losses or expenses arising in connection with the Sites or use thereof or inability to use by any party, or in connection with any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system failure. We are not responsible for any damages, losses or expenses arising from or related to the use of, or reliance on, any content, information or services provided on or through the Sites.

Termination:

Changes to the Agreement:

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our operations or legal landscape. We will notify you of significant changes, and your continued use of the network will constitute acceptance of the new terms.

Final Agreement:

This document represents the entire agreement between you and the Mushroom Network. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined herein.
